For 8 years now, Sun Life has been organizing fun runs that combine fitness, the excitement of watching celebrities, plus fund-raising! With the Philippines declared a diabetic hot spot, the theme is timely and relevant! Sugar Wars encourages an active lifestyle as one of the preventions of this debilitating disease.
Runner, Coach, Race Director and Event Organizer Rio de la Cruz tells about Sunpiology Run:Sugar Wars. This will be held on November 19, 2016 (Saturday), 3:00 PM-9:00 PM at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City. Close to a hundred Star Magic celebs will join to add glitz to the meaningful event.

- 500m walk/dash for kids/adults- Php 350
- 3k- Php 700
- 5k- Php 800
- 10k- Php 900
Being an obstacle course, 4 'battle stations' facilitate a better understanding of diabetes. There will also be an after-run show with surprise performances.
This run for a cause will be for the benefit of:
- Hebreo Foundation (founded by Piolo) which supports the education of children in different communities
- ISDFI or The Institute for Studies on Diabetes Foundation, Inc.
- Lingkod Kapamilya
- Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation Philippines, Inc.
