Ai Sarap Express Grand Opening Highlights, Friendship!

Hello po! Last December 2, 2017, we got invited to the Blessing and Grand Opening of Ai Sarap Express (now Chang Ai Express)! It was indeed a joyful occasion as they also gave away food for FREE that day!

Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas was present at the launch. Also gracing the event are bloggers, friends and loved ones of Ms. Ai Ai! We were even witness to how sweet Ms. Ai was to then fiance-now hubby, Gerald Sibayan (they got married last December 12).

AMBIANCE

The restaurant Ai Sarap Express is air conditioned, pretty spacious and clean.

It has a simple, homey and non-intimidating feel. Like an upgraded karinderia, what with the assortment of value-for-money instantly served specialties on display! You even have sabaw and free water!

Good to know it offers a wash area/toilet for guests.

Combo meal starts at Php 135- it's complete with viand, soup, rice or noodles plus drink!

The food they serve goes by the mission of having big serving at affordable prices. Chinese cuisine but Filipino inspired, plus, other international dishes. As Ms. Ai remarks, there is no particular identity as long as it fits the criteria of being MASARAP!

They have a line up of various dishes such as:
Vegetable soup, Nasi goreng, Ai Sarap fried rice, Ai Sarap stir fry noodles, Pancit pa-cham, Spicy lemon shrimp, Beef with broccoli, Fish, tofu and eggplant stir fry, Orange chicken, Sweet and sour pork, Lemon chicken, Honey soy glazed chicken.

The items in the menu are recipes of award winning Chef Niño Runas, who was also Ms. Ai's teacher in Culinary School. The Chef achieved professional experience abroad.
