Hello po! As the saying goes, a thing of beauty is a joy forever! With that, it is in our best interest that we look our best- well groomed- not just on special occasions, but all year round! A recent discovery that helps us put our best foot forward- Softline Salon and Spa Retiro!
Softline Salon and Spa has address in 270 Unit-D N.S. Amoranto St., Brgy. Salvacion, Retiro, Quezon City, Philippines (landmark: across R Place and beside Bank of Makati, in between Ipo and Hernani Streets!) They have been in the beauty business for 3 years.
From the outside, one may think that it is a boutique.
After all, there are accessories, clothes, shoes, bags and toiletries.
But once you come in, you will realize that it is also a salon/spa!
Have your nails done while watching TV or surfing the web via their FREE Wi-Fi!!
Hair and makeup paraphernalia.
Up the second floor, they also accommodate people who prefer more privacy or if it's already full at the ground floor. Facials are also done here.
Brands available like:
US brand Cuccio, Misa (vegan, safe for kiddos).
I noticed their towels looked pristine (I was able to go to a neighborhood salon before and the towel was nothing to smile about. My hairstylist even reprimanded the girl to change the towel, and that the one she put on me was already dirty!)

I had my hair and nails done that day.
There were a few of us that bloggers' pampering day! One asked to try hi-lites so I asked for it too, being I have never done this before and I was curious. My stylist for the day, Bimby, asked if I want many or few strands hi-lited, I said bahala ka na.
The length of time for the chemicals to take effect may vary depending on one's hair texture and response, so he does not stick to like strictly 30 minutes or what, he just checks.
Since hi-lites is only bleaching certain parts, hair color was also suggested! I let him decide na lang which color works best for me.
Afterwards, I was blown away! I was pleasantly surprised! I really love this color- I was half scared nga na baka kulay kalawang (rust), but no! It was a light brown and he said it can turn even lighter in a few days! I asked what number the color is but he said it was a combination kasi. Very light ash blonde which was an in-demand shade for customers. Bremod products.
I could not have asked for a better stylist! Thank you Bimby! Sobrang gaan ng kamay nya!
It was not traumatizing as he was very gentle with my hair and scalp, he did everything (combing, styling, coloring, etc.) meticulously, not hastily! Bimby is on-call, so better get an appointment! They have in-house hairstylist too and they say magaling din, I saw he was busy kasi with the other client's rebonding.
Up next was the nails!
My powder manicure was done no less by the expert. Ms. Rose had worked for prestigious nail brands before and she is also a training instructor for Cuccio Philippines.
There were many layers applied after buffing each. But it was quite fast. 20 secs dry then cuticle oil.
I felt a sensation, it was not painful, but feels like the nails are thickening and tightening.

The longevity for powder dip- very durable like a gel polish - that is to say more or less two weeks, depending on how you care for them!
Regular pedicure with imported polish!
Even though it was almost closing time, Ate still accommodated me. She was efficient- fast yet effective- got the job done. Cleaned and colored happy feet!

It was a salon and spa that you can literally spend all day in and get all your grooming needs- have facial, eyelash extension, hair and makeup, nails, waxing, 3D embroidery, etc.!
Overall, it was a wholesome experience here and the staff were nice, they greet and thank you afterwards.
Yes us girls (and boys too!), in Retiro and nearby areas, can be pampered and prettify here in Softline Salon and Spa! All in budget friendly rates! Thanks for reading! :)

I was shocked that Softline's 3D eyebrow embroidery is on sale for only Php 3,500! It was the cheapest price I have seen so far!
