Marriott Hotel Manila: All American, All Good!

For most Filipinos (including this writer), we adore everything USA. In fact, I have relatives working in this great nation, living their American dream. We love their ideals, products, food, and American people are very good-looking too. :)

Last July 8, 2014, 6:00 PM, Marriott Hotel Manila has prepared a magical evening for guests as they launched All American, All Good at Marriott.

Servers went around offering bite-sized hamburgers, juices, wines and beers.

There was also a live band providing great music.

The host for the night was Gisele Tongi. There were celebrities around, Americans and Filipinos were mingling.

Busts (purely made of chocolate!!!) of Amercian icons Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and James Dean.

Display of Harley Davidson motorcycles and Guitars from RJ.

This act brought the house down. Imagine the man on top was upside down- his head was on top of the head of the man below. Too bad I was at the very back in the nacho station when they did that stunt. But it was amazing!

Fab dance numbers. Cabaret!

There was a long queue for the Steaks/Bbqs and it was the first to run out!

Comforting Soups and homemade Sausages.

Crispy Nachos with different dips.

Yummy Pecan pie and Key Lime pie.

Cute cupcakes with American symbols as toppings.

Near the end, generous prizes were raffled off.

Yes, July 4 is the Independence Day of the United States of America, but here in the prestigious Marriott, the celebration is for the whole month of July!

They invited world-class Chef John Havens (of Certified Angus Beef or CAB, he has worked  for countless hotels and opened numerous restaurants) for this very special occasion.
