Mader Ricky Knows Best
I am very fortunate indeed to be among the bloggers invited to Mader Ricky Reyes' Event with The Ms. Earth Philippines Candidates.
Mader (Mother) is already an 'institution' in the Philippine beauty scene yet he remains down-to-earth, welcoming, caring and generous. Even his staff are warm.
He selflessly shared trade secrets and TIPS for beauty queens. Read carefully!
TOOLS:
Use sponge to put foundation on clean face
You only NEED 5 kinds of brush, the rest is decoration.
Oily skin- use cake foundation
Dry skin- go for cream foundation
If skin is "patay" and with cracks or 35 years old above- choose liquid
Foundation should be 1 shade lighter
Except for round face- use 1 shade darker, then use a lighter shade to highlight the middle of the face
NOSE:
Don't contour the sides because it looks unnatural; use a lighter foundation to highlight the bridge (between the eyebrows to the tip)
EYEBROW:
Eyebrow should be thick to look young
Old mascara can be used to groom eyebrow
BLUSH:
Cheekbones going up then down to chin for fat face
From cheekbones going up for thin face
EYESHADOW:
Use base- lighter color
Fair skinned- can use any color
Morenas- stay away from colorfuls, go with earth tone colors
Black is best for pageants
LIPSTICK:
Use pinks to look your young age
Red to brown is for older
HAIR:
Pusod or bun is ok for round baby face or small face but put height above to elongate face
Waves and curls are in
Beauty with A Cause
Many people are aware that Carousel Productions' Miss Philippines-Earth pageant has an advocacy and Mader Ricky is active in his philanthropic ways. This day's activity is complete with a visit to Childhaus, a temporary shelter for cancer-stricken children. It is founded and operated by Mader, along with numerous supporters including SM Supermalls' Mr. Hans Sy. They are also scheduled to visit St. Meritxel, an orphanage in Marikina that Mader also contributes to.
Thank you so much Mader- there's so many gifts- 12 pc brush set, Ricky Reyes Magic Lashes Mascara, SKIN:OLOGY TOKYO.NEW YORK.PARIS Bare Setting Powder, Bare BB Cream and Pure Cleanser and Makeup Remover

ReplyDeleteHello! Skinology Bare is indeed a great BB cream, fresh (was it green tea) scent and with great coverage yet feels light on the skin, me and other bloggers loved it. I saw it before in Ricky Reyes branch in SM Megamall. Kindly ask them if they still carry it as this was posted back in 2014. :)
