Happy Wallet in Recession Coffee by Digital Walker
When I first heard about Recession Coffee last August 27, 2015 (they were only around 2 weeks that time), I was completely amazed with this new and first-of-its-kind concept of cafe. Imagine, you set the amount you are willing to give for your cuppa! In other words, you are free to pay whatever price you want!!! Huwaaaat?!
Recession Coffee is inside Digital Walker, in the 4th floor of Eastwood Mall, 1880 Eastwood Building, Eastwood Avenue, Eastwood City, Quezon City, Philippines. These two and Beyond the Box are sister companies.
While getting your stylish tech accessories, you can grab some concoctions and desserts.

Here is a funny guide in case I still have not convinced you that it is totally up to you on how much you afford to pay. Less than Php 50, and Php 200 up. But be warned. You will get a glass that corresponds with that bill- either pokes fun or praises you!
Coffee is categorized "specialty" when it scores 80 points or above on a 100 point scale/grading system. Recession Coffee and EDSA Beverage (their coffee bean and machine supplier) also aim to educate people about better coffee choices and improve the local coffee scene!
This is my first order. Ethiopia Sidamo Guji Suke Quto Single Origin Pour Over/Hand Brewed Coffee and their bestseller, Hashtag Love Wins, a moist chocolate taste. I did not put any sugar in my coffee. Not just bitterness is tasted, I enjoyed all its complexities and flavors.
My second serving was Banana Almond Tart and Cafe Latte. The two other people in my table also shared this with me. If I was not in a jolly mood, I would have snapped and said keep your forks off my cake, hahaha! It's THAT delicious. I prefer it more than the first. I get happy seeing designs in the froth of the coffee. This brew has a strong taste and enticing aroma.
EDSA Beverage also introduced these drinks. We got a taste of COO Bottled Soda and TBGB Ginger Beer, and I really like them! Hope they are available in stores!

I am never going back to regular earphones again! thudBUDS spell a world of difference! It comes in cool colors, has a better fit, makes sound louder and clearer, and outside noise is really muffled.
