Teresita's of San Fernando will be having a Grand Halo Halo Day wherein they will give FREE halo-halo

Teresita's of San Fernando is an offshoot of Teresita R. Razon's Halo-Halo and Palabok in Pampanga, officially sanctioned and first tradename branch of the Razon Halo-Halo Refreshment Parlor outside of its one and only location in the town of Guagua. The latter was started in 1972 by sisters Severina, Elena and Virginia.

Now brothers Paulo and Ryan, Go Negosyo  Entrepreneur Awardee and of The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition fame, fourth generation of the famous Razon clan of Pampanga, started this restaurant (Teresita's of San Fernando) in July 2011, as an offshoot of their parent's business which opened in San Fernando in 2002.

All Razon's stores operating nationwide are presently owned and operated by the nephews and nieces of the 3 sisters. I am sure we as Pinoys are very familiar with this chain. When we see "Razon", we equate it with good Kapampangan food, halo halo, palabok, ganern.

teresita's kare-kare, teresita's beef caldereta,

We had actually been to their restaurant before and what me, my hubby and my mom's ultimate favorites are their famouzzz halo-halo and palabok. These are enduring and popular thru word-of-mouth by satisfied customers!

So this happened last April 22, 2017, from 1 to 3 PM. Siyempre nakigulo ang lola mo sa National free halo-halo day ng Teresita's, noh! Chance na yan, hehehe! I availed in their SM North EDSA Annex branch.

A lucky guest happily shows off her yummy FREE Teresita's halo-halo

Good news! They plan to make this as a tradition- yes, you read it right!!!YEARLY na ang Grand Halo Halo Day! See you next year for another Teresita's Grand Halo Halo Day!!! Agad agad? Choz!

Teresita's proves that halo-halo does not need a gazillion various overpowering toppings to be endearing and memorable. Their mouthwatering halo-halo only has simple but quality ingredients (I do not have an official list but that is what I feel is inside)- syrupy leche flan, millk, macapuno, and very smooth, finely shaved ice. You have to agree, their powdered ice makes a world of difference! Their original recipe dates back to pre-world war, would you believe!

I loved that there are 2 big chunks of delicious leche flan! Hindi ka mabibitin. Leche flan is one of my favorite food, eh! Their leche flan is siksik, firm, creamy, with the just right sweetness, and it may be my imagination- but I feel it has a like a tinge of lemon rind, which only acts to make it more unique. Add the other ingredients, and the result is nothing but magic! I have tried many halo-halos and theirs is one of the best, if not THE BEST. Proof is other fastfood chains made their own version of this creamy halo-halo!

We also had Beef Caldereta and Kare-Kare, which are Teresita's own recipe. Both are satisfying and superb. Choice and fresh ingredients, with the right balance of flavors in the sauce. These are crave worthy as well.
