Biographies
Maia Pega
Maia Pega is passionate about beauty. A traveller at heart, her exposure to different cultures all over the world has reinforced her eye for the aesthetic, and now she wants to use her renewed passion to empower women, to make them feel special, to make them feel beautiful. Thus, Skintology: the Science of Aesthetics was born.

Dra. Katrina Marie Abat, MD, DPDS
Dra. Katrina Marie Abat, MD, DPDS graduated with honors cum laude in BS Biology at the University of the Philippines and finished her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital. She also had internships at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia and at the New York Aesthetic Consultants in Manhattan, New York. She is a board-certified dermatologist, passing the Philippine Dermatological Society diplomate exam as top-notcher. Completing her three-year residency in dermatology at the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Inc. from 2011 to 2013, where she also served as Chief Resident on her last year of training, she now shares her knowledge and expertise as the dermatologist and medical director of Skintology Aesthetics Clinic.

Dr. Bryan Uy-Barreta, MD
Dr. Bryan Uy-Barreta, M.D. specializes in weight loss and management. Earning his MD from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, he first worked as a Primary Care Physician for BDO UniBank, Mandarin Hotel, Hotel Intercontinental Manila, and Barangay San Lorenzo Clinic simultaneously, before moving on to Fortmed Medical Clinics as part of the senior medical staff at the Dusit Thani Clinic. He is currently clinic manager of Skintology: The Science of Aesthetics.
