Nivea Men #DISKARTE Fun Event
I saw in Nivea's Facebook page that they will be having some activities at the Trinoma Activity Center with "freebies & prizes only if you have #diskarte". I got curious and thought it will be fun so off I went (and we need to also buy a refrigerator that day).
It was an all day event yesterday, February 6, 2015 to "test your diskarte." But what is diskarte?
Nivea Men says #DISKARTE is the ability to withstand the challenges and glitches of life and still emerge triumphantly.
It is the manner of handling and making the best out of a situation in a smooth and confident way.
There was a program earlier (around noon time), and another entertainment show on 6:00 PM. Celebrities were in attendance.
Folks just need to register at the entrance and then they will get stamped and they can enjoy everything Nivea has prepared for them.
There's the Refresh Zone where one can wash his face and try their various products. (Yes, the faucet really has water it is not just a display.)
Then I think this is what we enjoyed the most... GAMES with PRIZES!!!
Wii.. play basketball or dance dance! I wanted to but my partner was kinda shy because the most number of people are watching in this particular area.
In this table, one can play stack the cards or another game- I think it's shoot the ping pong ball in a cup. I lost the challenge (ran out of time when there was just 3 cards sayang). But you know what, I'm still happy because it was exciting, felt the adrenaline rush, though my hands were shaking because of the pressure.
Then there is magnetic dart game. Magnetic because there is no sharp point, just a roundish flat metal tip. I didn't hit the bull's eye even though I tried to like 9 times. But it was very near. Just a cm near. Ah, I suck at games.
Then there is the table soccer game.
But the best part is when you buy at least Php 300 worth of products, you get a FREE t-shirt (choose a HIS or HERS) and a chance to win a trip to Boracay for two. They said they will be announcing the 3 winners (in case he/she is not around, they will call) later in the evening.
So when you win a game you get this gift pack. My companion has full sized products inside- Anti-Acne Oil Control Facial Foam and Invisible for Black & White Anti-Perspirant. My consolation prize is a sachet of Oil Control Cooling Volcanic Mud Foam Multi Effect 8 (I have a female's version of the Deep Cleansing Mud Foam). We also bought products- Originals Moisturising Shaving Foam to replace the near empty green Nivea shaving cream that we are using, and Whitening Cleanser & Scrub 10x Whitening Effect. Just trying our luck if we win a trip to one of the Philippines' most popular, world class, white sand beach.
