Beauty Bar Exclusive: Cargo Swimmables to Keep You Beautiful This Scorching Summer!

Hello po! I was so giddy to attend another beauty and makeup class event, this time here in Beauty Bar Central Square, Bonifacio High Street. Chinky Tanjangco has been a professional MUA since 2009 and she shared  info about and her faves among Cargo Cosmetics products, some of her tips and tricks, and valuable secrets!

Of course, I have been buying from Beauty Bar for quite some time now! They have fantastic international brands housed here (Cargo is exclusively sold in Beauty Bar) plus amazing promos / sales from time to time!

We tested Cargo- the products are mostly made in USA or Canada, and a few from China.

It has happened to me a couple times when I go on swimming, after I submerge from the water, my makeup is a mess! Good thing we have Swimmables so your "face" will stay put. Since this day March 18, 2017  is about Swimmable Summer and maximizing the Cargo Swimmables, let's focus on this line:

Cargo Swimmables Eye Pencil, Price: Php 850
-Rich and creamy formula, combining the feel of a liquid with the versatility of a pencil. Transfer-resistant, they stay locked in place for up to 14 hours. Ingredients include avocado and sunflower oil.

Cargo Swimmables Bronzer, Price: Php 1,350
-This long-wearing bronzer won't budge; its medium bronze shade is universally flattering.
It has L-lysine, an amino acid that's found naturally in the skin dermis which increases the bronzer's water resistant properties; micronized light diffusers scatter light from the face, providing a natural, non-shiny glow; while its silicone-coated talc provides better skin adhesion, withstanding water.

-For effortless summer glow rain or shine. Silky smooth texture layers easily. Paraben-free.
Inspired by the award winning Swimmables bronzer and packaged in Cargo's signature oversized silver tin, it also contains L-lysine and micronized light diffusers. Comes in Bali, Ibiza and Los Cabos.

She used Cargo Magic Eye Brush; and Magic Brush (Php 1,850)- it's the ultimate all-in-one, for powder or liquid! Scientifically engineered synthetic fibers act like a magnet.

Some of my take home learnings:

• Wait 30 seconds in between application of the various cosmetics, allowing it to dry, or else, magpatse-patse.
• Contour from mid of ear going to mouth corner, but stopping below the pupils of the eyes.
• Choose water-resistant mascara over water-proof since the latter is not good for lash health in everyday use.
• Nose line- from base of eyebrow lightly going down, then from "ball" (sides of tip of nose) going up to fade.
• For soft look, opt for brown eye liner instead of black.
• L-lysine (an ingredient of Swimmables) binds to skin.

With MUA Chinky Tanjangco. She looks like a delicate Chinese princess, no? This is my final look, everything on my face is by Cargo:

I love Cargo's texture and pigments, it really is a quality brand. My fave is their base makeup. It covers well, feels light, has a soft focus effect and  looks natural (like my skin but better, not a shiny white face mask effect).
