Best Ever Isehan Heroine Make JCara Comparison
Hello po! Frens, I've read that Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Super Waterproof is considered one of the most favorite mascaras of beauty vloggers and so I had to try it.
My lashes are already long but straight, so the problem is keeping it curled up thru the day.
Other mascaras just increase the length and volume but it still points down.
I have to say Heroine effectively keeps it curled up all day even when I am wearing eyeglasses.
Lashes appear sleek, darker and shiny. It doesn't look like fibers building up.
It also feels feathery light and not at all heavy, no flakey or spider legs look.
But I have to admit the downside is taking it off.
First impression-
It is so hard to remove Heroine mascara.
They were not kidding when they claim it as SUPER waterproof, as in budge proof, life proof.
With other mascaras, cleansing oil would usually suffice and you can pull/slide it off or it melts, but with Heroine, it is still there even after the cleansing oil and face wash.
I had to use a lot of cotton buds soaked in eye and lip makeup remover that a few of my eyelashes already fell off huhu... (Maybe I have to change to a stronger biphasic remover.) Micellar water doesn't work on this.
After the first use, I can already notice that my lashes look brittle (either from the mascara formula or from the effort in pulling, wiping and trying to take it off). And I researched about it, turns out I need to use a primer to coat the lashes first and for easy removal, use the specifically made Isehan mascara remover partner (also from Heroine make).

So on the second day, I used a primer prior to Heroine mascara.
Then when using the cleansing oil, I made an effort to massage it for at least a minute all over my lashes. It seems to do the trick as only minimal is left. Then my oil based eye and make up remover. I also soaked the cotton in it and let it sit but it did not melt the remaining so I still had to pull downwards.
On my succeeding uses, I already have an easy time removing it. The trick is to let the cotton soaked with oil based eye makeup remover stay in your eyes longer then you may wipe it, or really concentrate the cleansing oil on the eyes then removal will be more effortless. Proper cleansing product and technique is key.
For me, the volumizing, curling and lengthening effect of both long and curl appears the same. It is just that long seems a tad easier to remove than volume.
Its price of around php 800, makes Isehan on the high range (for reference, most local drugstore brands cost only php 300).
Tips:
Not for everyday use.
Use lash primer and let the biphase makeup remover soak or sit on the lashes for a minute so it will be easier to remove.
Best to buy the set or the heroine pair of mascara and remover.

I have been using both long and volume for well over 6 months now and they are still excellent and wet (not dried up) and works fine. Yes, Isehan Kiss Me is one of the best mascaras out there but it is not perfect. However, I would still recommend it especially for Asian lashes. Thanks for reading! :)
