Degustation Menu at The Old Spaghetti House

I love Italian foods! I rarely cook, but when I do, I usually make spaghetti, carbonara or pizza. That's why I was looking forward to attending the bloggers' food tasting event at The Old Spaghetti House Katipunan last June 21, 2014, 7:30 PM.

It has a warm, cozy ambiance. Can you spot HOME in the picture?

We had a taste of their NEW MENU

Soup:
Roasted Corn and Pumpkin Chowder
Nothing like a warm, comforting soup to beat that rainy night!

Salad:
Green Chicken, Apples and Almond Salad... umm I was not able to try this as in naubusan ako ng mga kasama ko! That's how good it must be. Note to self: Will order on next visit.

Appetizers:
Ham and Cheese Croquette

I love the Pinoy pizza. It's different from the usual but the combination of local ingredients like tapa and salted egg is very good.

Dessert:
Van Dough cookies- impeccable is an understatement. Soft and made of Ghirardelli premium chocolate which assures that it's the ultimate. I squealed in delight upon tasting it and I almost ate up all the cookies in our table.

They are all delicious and definitely a must try but my Top 3  favorites are the Pinoy pizza, chili con carne pasta and OF COURSE Van Dough Cookies.
