Review: Leiania Wild Herb Argan Skin Peel
Hello po! So it was only now that I was able to use Leiania House of Beauty Wild Herb Argan Skin Peel + Wild Herb Green Actives after it was sent to me because I was honestly a bit scared to use a deep peel. I was scared of burning!
But reading articles and talking to a derma, I realized the importance of skin exfoliation- especially since we can't stop aging!
So prior to using, I googled and saw Leiania blog. The steps were quite different from the instructions at the back of the bottle.
What I did:
Combine 1/8 tbsp powder and 1 tablespoon liquid (shake the bottle well first) in a plastic dish.
Applied all over face using brush ( I did not apply it in my sensitive neck area).
Avoided the eye area.
I didn't notice it dripped inside my lips til i saw that there was a white patch so i tissued and rinsed off my lip area quickly and it was okay.
Leave on for 10 minutes.
There is hardly any stinging. I tolerated it well.
The only time it stung in my cheekbones was when I was rinsing it. (Update: My second use, skin above my lips where moustache grows stung.)
As I splashed water, the oil wouldn't budge. And I got scared 'coz it almost went into my eyes (good thing it didn't as I kept my eyes tightly shut)!
So I had to keep my eyes closed for a long time as I rinsed and soaped my face and eyes like 5+ times.
My face was reddish immediately after. But as few minutes passed, it calmed down. My face looked whiter and smoother, less oily.
Looking back, here are things I would do instead and other thoughts:
I am looking forward to skin renewal (i.e., peeling off after a few days) and will update.
After 10 days:
Nope, there was no visible peeling on the entire face. I only got micropeeling (not obvious) on a small part of the nose. But me and my hubby felt that it helped dry out existing pimples.
Thanks for reading my experience with Leiania House of Beauty Wild Herb Argan Skin Peel + Wild Herb Green Actives! :)

I also treated my hubby's face with this. The solution is yellowish while the powder really looked like some dry pulverized leaves.

Looking back, here are things I would do instead and other thoughts:
- Strict measurement of the oil and the powder is not important, but what you should do is make a paste out of these two, just that there should be more liquid than powder.
- Be very careful in this procedure.
- Put balm on your lips for protection prior to application.
- In removing, wipe it off your skin with tissue or cotton first before rinsing. Because if you do not wipe it off first, the oil is so hard to remove with soap and water.
- When done correctly, this DIY saves you a lot of money as compared to having a peel done at a skin clinic.
