Max Factor Velvet Volume Mascara Review
Max Factor Velvet Volume False Lash Effect Mascara. I bought it about 6 months ago, and only got to use it now coz I was using another one then... And what's the point of opening 3 mascaras at the same time? They're the first makeup you NEED to toss - after 6 months of using!
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
Price: Bought it for Php 765 and it came with a free lip gloss hohoho!
Made in Ireland
First Impression: Was just a bit disappointed coz it was just a decent volume. I was hoping for the full, va-va-voom full volume and long lash effect. But it feels light though.
The next uses: I see some clumps on the wand (as the applicator looks like a plastic wand, like Covergirl's big wand, not the usual hair brush kind). And when those clumps got to my lashes that is when I achieved those fat lashes for a false lash effect.
Max Factor Velvet Volume False Lash Effect Mascara
Likes:
Classy design of the packaging
Feels light on the lashes
Dislikes:
Smudges on eye area when I use BB cream only (powdering the eye area helps prevent this)
Clumps
Not sealed - which is not cool for a product which shelf life begins to tick tock the very moment it is opened; and you may have observed how some salesladies would whip out or even swatch the product you are inquiring on or about to purchase (a brand new one, not the tester), in a way like a cake or donut guy showing the contents of the box.
This was the results on my lashes (left). As you can see, it really does is job. I am satisfied.
Will I buy Max Factor Velvet Volume mascara again or recommend to others? Not unless it improves in terms of not running down when I sweat or get oily.
This review is actually long overdue and had been in my drafts for quite some time (think years, back '17? eek)! Only this quarantine did I manage to sit down and get this done.
Thanks for reading my experience on Max Factor Velvet Volume False Lash Effect Mascara! :)
