Reviewing Yves Rocher solid shampoo bar!

Hello po! Friends, let's take a look at the Yves Rocher shampoo bar. Is it worth it?

Le shampooing solide nutrition douceur yves rocher france

First of all, there are 4 variants - Purifying, Gentle, Shine, Nourishing.

Suitable for all hair types.

Yves Rocher shampoo bar is:

Made in France.

Price per 60 gram bar is Php 499.

How to use:

Rub shampoo between hands or directly on wet hair. Lather. Massage scalp and rinse.

Pros-

The product has botanicals for ingredients and is free from nasty artificial chemicals.

There is no plastic wrap, just a simple carton so this doesn't generate more garbage unlike the notoriously ocean polluting shampoo sachets.

1 60g bar is said to be equal to 2 bottles of 300ml liquid shampoo.

I love the advocacy of this "Green Hero" product - designed with less plastic and less CO2*. Plus, for every one bought, one tree will be planted by the Yves Rocher Foundation!

1 SOLID BAR OF 60G = UP TO 2 LIQUID SHAMPOOS OF 300ML**

This is indeed very nice and fragrant. Really bubbly too. I first thought it might cause strands to become stiff or all tangled up. But that fear was unfounded! Because surprisingly, it leaves my hair refreshed, supple and smooth. No need for conditioner or vinegar rinse even! (Well, it's your call if you still want to follow with that.)

Both have castor oil, macadamia and chamomile in the ingredients. The soap in the orange box has 2 additional botanicals - calendula and centaurea.

Cons-

When the bar is wet, it becomes so soft and melts rather easily. In fact, I can see the molten residue in between the slants of the soap dish. As a result, this bar only lasted for a month (only two of us were using it and I don't even shampoo every day). So be careful to always keep it dry!

I feel like this product would be better if the carton was glued shut or there is an inner paper covering the soap itself so the air won't affect the freshness (para hindi sumingaw).

I had another bar (different brand) which also was not protected by any other covering besides its box and insects got to it. It was weird considering it was a soap after all, which should have dispelled them.

That's it! I recommend Yves Rocher solid shampoo  to keep your locks healthy and Mother Earth happy! :)
