My thoughts and experience:

• Shake vigorously before use or else only clear liquid will come out first...
• I love that it is Cruelty Free!
• Pleasant scent; like an essential oil for aromatherapy.
• Fluid- non sticky, non greasy, with unique velvety  glow finish. So top it with Petal Velvet if you are a fan of the very matte look.
• Lightweight feel. Just this, powder, and concealer on the undereyes is a better option for me rather than the sometimes hot, heavy and sticky foundation. 
• Brightens and whitens and mild blurring effect. To be realistic it does not cover very dark blemishes and deep pitted scars.
• No white cast. 
• Flash friendly.
• Waterproof/ sweatproof. I splashed water on my skin to test if it will repel it and it did. It also lasts the day. Of course, recommended to re-apply every few hours especially when swimming.
• Gentle on my sometimes sensitive skin.
• Make skin soft as petal, because it is hydrating.
• As early as my first use, when I washed it off the skin looks more beautiful- brighter and matte which I appreciate coz I have oily skin.
• Most importantly, Althea Sunaway did not cause blackheads on my nose. When I use other day cream or sunblock, they seem to give me those black dots on the nose area! This one didn't!

Look at the swatch! Left half of the right pic displays the light blur effect I am talking about! :)

Look at the right picture. The right side when blended seems to have been insta-filtered! Pores and fine hair seems vanished. Wow!

The left side of my face has Althea Sunaway. That is why it looks whiter than the bare skinned right half.

All in all, I can honestly say that the Petal Velvet Sunaway is another amazing product from the Althea Exclusive line. I think it can help one to be more religious in applying sunblock everyday since it is so wonderful to use. Two thumbs up! Thanks for reading! :)
