Review: Althea A'bloom- Sweet, Cute and Fun!
Hello po! Here is my review of the new products from Althea Korea - the trendy A'bloom line!
So ph.althea.kr dropped 3 new bombs in the skin care and tools division and they are the A'bloom Meringue Puff, A'bloom mask sheets and A'bloom Natural BHA Blackhead Blaster! All these babies are made in Korea and dermatologist tested.
A'bloom Meringue Puff
Price Giant Meringue Puff 1s Php 100 / 48x46 mm
Price Baby Meringue Puff 3s Php 140 / 30x28 mm
High density, latex free foam.
Non toxic and free of heavy metals.
Microporous non latex puff can be used 2 ways:
Wet- imparts on complexion a glossy, moisturized finish. (Sheer coverage)
Dry- imparts on complexion a matte, perfected finish. (Full coverage)
It has just the right softness and is firm.
It is not too soft for its own good.
There are common blenders in raindrop or pear shapes but Abloom's puff is unique.
I use the base all over the face while I like the tips for the side of the nose and under eyes.
I have to admit, before, I thought sponges are unnecessary and so I prefer using my fingers. But after trying this, I am convinced that they are important in achieving a streak free and non-cakey results and gives makeup better adherence and coverage of pores.
Tips in cleaning the puff:
Avoid laundry powder since its blue specks may discolor the puff and also irritate sensitive skin. I tried using dishwashing liquid followed by a white bar of body soap but it did not remove all the brown foundation stain.
I find the best way to clean it is with Althea oil based serum cleanser.
Also, best to wash and completely dry after every use to avoid skin troubles.

WATER-ME-LONG mask
Moisturizing watermelon for drench and quench care, to address dryness and hydration.
Main ingredients- watermelon, lavender, (moisturizing) trehalose, hydrogenated lecithin, sodium hyaluronate; (calming) Ocimum Basilicum flower/leaf/stem; (anti-microbial) Acmella Oleracea.
AVO-CUDDLE-ME mask
Nourishing avocado for anti-aging and wrinkle care.
Main ingredients- avocado, hibiscus, (anti aging) adenosine, basil; (moisturizing) trehalose, shea butter, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate; (brightening) Fraxinus Rhynchophylla; (anti-microbial) Acmella Oleracea.
SPARKLE-ME-BRIGHT mask
Brightening lemon lime for shining radiance, brightening and even skin tone.
Main Ingredients- lemon lime, green tea; (moisturizing) trehalose, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate; (brightening) niacinamide, Fraxinus Rhynchophylla; (anti-microbial) basil and Acmella Oleracea.
I keep them in the refrigerator so they are cool when I use them.
Each sachet contains generous non sticky essence that I also massage on my legs and arms.
I like that they have a lot of nutritious natural ingredients.
The sheet is just the right fit for my face.
They are so affordable!

A'bloom Natural BHA Blackhead Blaster
Price Php 200 for 8 g
The 1st natural BHA stick, gentle and effective formula, treats and prevents blackheads and whiteheads.
No ouch! 1 minute application.
Daily blackhead triple care. Gentle natural BHA stick.
Contains Natural BHA (white willow bark extract 5000 ppm), charcoal, apricot seed powder, tea tree leaf oil.
Comes in a calming tea tree scent.
Contains granules.
Not only in the nose, I used it on my entire face and afterwards my skin feels squeaky clean!
I like that it comes in a handy stick form.
It is effective and delivers fast results.
Definitely a must have item!
I have a tub of clear blackhead balm but that felt oily. Unlike that one, A'bloom rinses completely and doesn't leave behind a greasy after-feel.
Tip:
Prior to use, open up pores with warm water or place a hot towel onto skin for a few minutes.
Best way to cleanse off thoroughly any residue is by using a pore brush.
When it seems like you have finished your ABloom BHA Blackhead Blaster, and can't twist no more, remove the bottom part of the tube. Push it with your little finger. You will be surprised there is a lot of product left and good for many uses!

I used it on a 'volunteer'. His blackhead and whitehead came out and thus can easily scrape them off.

ReplyDeleteGraveh. I've tried their mask cuz i hoard haha first time ko maka experience ng hnf masyadong malagkit sa skin. Cuz i hate those sticky feeling buti nalang althea has their own brand na and it really good on acne prone skin. Together with madecaassoside cica cream its a great combo ever! Hehe i am looking for that bha. Bat kasi hnd ko pa naisama haha next purchase isasama ko na yan. Dami ko din mga blackheads as in.
