Post-Pandemic Blogafest 2022 One for the Books!

Hello po! Friends, we braved typhoon Paeng and attended the first face to face after the pandemic Blogapalooza. We have been regularly going here since 2013!

Sometimes, weather forecasts are not 100% accurate. So I have to admit, with that in mind, I went ahead to the City of Dreams. And oh my, was I wrong in assuming that the weather won't be that extreme. I almost got blown away by the strong winds while walking in Pasay!

City of Dreams, as always, was such a grandiose venue. And there inside, were selfie stations, partner booths, and I combed thru each of them and got to know their stories, played games.

I was also amazed at the popular influencers and entertainers in attendance. They were speakers, presenters, etc. I am happy to mingle with both old and new blogger friends!

Clockwise from top right: Macoydubs, Mr. Speaks, Francine Garcia.

I was lucky that my entry to Instagram (past Bloga memories) was picked but the prize was to be released after the Orange Carpet awards. I was informed in the registration booth that it would finish about 8:30 pm but it actually ended around 10 pm (which is the usual bedtime for this tita of Manila). After the program and recognition for the best in each niche, there was an after party (read- yummy food)!

Thank you Blogapalooza team, Blogafam, the sponsors, and especially these generous brands - Bingo Plus, Lifestrong (Pretty Secret, Cathy Doll, NutriXpert), Grab, TNC, Nitro Brands (Tink shirt), Trally, NYFD, Unilab (Enervon, Fortima), aboutface cosmetics, Meta, Del Monte, Jack Daniels, City of Dreams.

The past years that I've attended Blogapalooza, I leave late afternoon or early evening, so this is definitely the first time for me to stay til this late. I was able to reach home around 2 AM already since we waited for the non-stop rains to subside, and it became hard to commute, with PUVs far in between, and some taxis were choosy. I even thought we would be stranded at the casino. So I have to say, this Blogapalooza 2022 is by far the most memorable due to the challenging circumstances!

So that was my experience last October 29, 2022. Thank God we arrived home safely. Also praying for everyone else affected, be it man or animal...
