Yale Digital Locks Philippine Launching
Last April 2, 2014, Assa Abloy held the unveiling of Yale digital locks (Security meets Convenience) to the Philippine media at the Marquee Tent of the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel.
A sumptious buffet was in store for the guests.
One of their banners seen upon entering:
Here is Mr. Stanley Ngai, Assa Abloy Country Manager delivering his message:
Since 2000, Yale has been part of Assa Abloy. Assa Abloy has more than 200 global brands under its portfolio. It is the world leader in total door opening solution and is ranked 38th in Forbes's list of the world's most innovative companies.
Digital door locks started in South Korea (yes, the Koreanovela fan beside me notices it in the shows) about 20 years ago.
There was a funny act wherein crooks Mr. & Mrs. Locksmith tried to unbolt the Yale locks but were unsuccessful and thus caught.
Mr. Alok Gupta, Assa Abloy Digital Door Locks Head for South Asia- talking about the benefits from the new Yale digital locks:
I have enumerated the attributes in the previous blog post but here's a little secret:
It has a ladies' feature. Yep. I am quite giddy when I heard it. How it comes handy: At times when a wife gets angry when her husband comes home very late from drinking all night, she can choose to lock it from the inside such that when he's trying to open it from the outside he can't have access.
They raffled off some state of the art door locks twice. In the first one, when a name gets called, that person should answer correctly Mr. Gupta's question. There's 3 winners for that if I remember correctly. In the second round, 5 people will try their luck in opening the lock using the code they picked from the fishbowl but only 1 will get the smartest door lock from the collection. Oh, how I wish I won it!
Mr. Sonny Ver Soneja, Assa Abloy Digital Door Locks Business Development Manager inviting us in their Trade Events in Edsa Shangri-La Mall and Alabang Town Center.
I was also with some blogger friends during this event, Jocris and Rattus.
Thanks for your generosity Yale!
