Tambayan Sa Kanto- A MUST VISIT FILIPINO RESTAURANT!!!
If only the foreign blogger who ranted that she would never again eat in the Philippines knew where to eat then I'm sure she would have probably praised Filipino cuisine to the nth level!
When one is looking for authentic regional cuisine, there is one restaurant one MUST go to: Tambayan sa Kanto.

The name itself (chillout/hangout/standby in the corner) is a misnomer when you realize the classy ambiance of the place and excellent dishes they serve, all at very reasonable prices.

'Tis a one stop place. After a proper dinner, if one wishes so, one can smoke or drink beer in the secluded area.
Invited bloggers with the beautiful and gracious hostess, Ms. Margaret Estreegan.
I don't really eat pork often and I only imagine bubble gum at the sight of white fat, but I actually liked their pork dishes- maybe it's in the quality or the freshness of the meat and the way it was cooked.
My Top 3 favorites were the must try bagnet, of course, coconut crusted prawns with chutney and chicharon liempo. No other restaurant serves that good a bagnet and chutney.
To be very honest, all the foods they served us was delicious. If it's not, I would not say so. This is definitely the place where you can bring your balikbayans or foreign friends and family. And us Filipinos should be patronizing what is inherently OURS. Buy Pinoy, buy local, as they say!
Well deserved! The National Product Quality Excellence Awards for Best Authentic Filipino Cuisine.
They do not serve fusion cuisine as is the fad nowadays, but they chose to stick to the original recipes of our ancestors and retain the truly Filipino tastebud.
My restaurant review would not be complete if I did not mention the restroom. They have a clean and complete with the basic amenities comfort room for both their first and second floor.
