Himalaya Herbals Anti Acne Set Review
I was having some minor breakouts last month when I saw that the Himalaya Herbals set was on sale (70% off in Watsons). Of course, I immediately bought 1 and even shared this bargain find in my Facebook.
The regular price was Php 299 but it was down to just Php 105.
These are Ayurvedic products made in India and claim to contain 100% herbal actives.
I have used the acne-n-pimple cream years ago and I was very satisfied with its efficacy. After some time, I did not see much of their line in stores, but now, they are very active again.
Purifying Neem Foaming Face Wash, 50 ml
Ingredients:
I didn't like the neem wash because my skin didn't feel thoroughly clean. Yes, it's mild and doesn't sting but I don't like its dispensing type (when I pump the top, foam comes out). I prefer the gel type or if I myself will lather it to make it bubble. When it was near empty, I opened the bottle. The product is liquid- like water- so that when I pour it onto my hands there is a tendency of spilling.
What I like about it is that it keeps my skin feeling oil free longer.
Purifying Neem Scrub, 75 ml
Ingredients:
This also has apricot seeds like other scrubs. The grainy stuff allows for physical exfoliation of the skin. I think it's same fragrance with the neem wash. If you are looking for a whitening wash, try their brightening cleanser. Click here for review.
Acne-n-Pimple Cream (Silk Cotton Tree and Five-leaved Chaste Tree), 30 g
Ingredients:
IN LOVE and impressed with the acne & pimple cream. Unlike other anti-acne medications that work by exfoliating the top layer even of healthy skin, this one HEALS the pimples! My face did not look scaly or peeling, and if you massage well, it will disappear leaving a matte finish. Estimate 3 days for pimple to clear (depending on the type of acne).
Experience: After 2 weeks of using this system, I still had a couple of zits appear so I added astringent (another brand) to my regimen. And it had prevented new pimples! I write this review now after a month of using the system and the neem wash bottle is now empty!
Will I buy Himalaya Herbals again?
Yes, I will buy again and highly recommend to people with troubled skin the acne and pimple cream. But I might not purchase the cleanser and scrub again and just check out their other variants.

Where can i buy acne n pimple cream here in the philippines
ReplyDeleteHello! I bought it in Watsons but when I was there recently I didn't see it. I just saw Himalaya's other creams, toners, facial wash. They were on buy 1 take 1. Maybe they don't sell this acne n pimple here anymore.
