Mardi Gras Vibe at Rue Borbon

Kabayan, who says you need to travel to New Orleans on the Kings Day to have a taste of the famous Mardi Gras?

You can have a carnival celebration every night here in Rue Borbon!

I was lucky to be invited in their bloggers' night!

They really cooked up some fun activities specially for that night. There was a tarot reader in the house (those who tried said he was pretty accurate), bartending show and premium liquor was auctioned off (Patron which costs Php 4,000 was acquired for just Php 1,000+)!

DRINKS

I have heard that Gun Powder is a sight to behold so of course I had to order it.

Wooh!!! It lives up to its name, man, Gumuguhit! Plus the way it's the drink's burned up is a spectacle to behold.

A definite must try is Big Ass Beer. Huge! They have draft, and a variety of flavored beers (strawberry, cucumber, hazelnut, rose, apple, lychee, etc). I love the caramel one, it does not only smell sweet but also tastes like the flavor it represents! Yummers!

I have tried different dishes and drinks by Rue Bourbon over the course of visiting it with friens and my sugnificant other.

Their dishes are not just tasteless grub to accompany your beer, but  are indeed delicious!

Attractive ladies are given these necklace beads by the men whose interest they caught. These can be exchanged for cocktails.

Rue Borbon has branches in Salcedo Makati, Eastwood Libis, Fort BGC, Tomas Morato, BF HOmes. (They used to have a branch in Tagaytay City.)

They're open from 6:00 PM til 2:00 AM at times extending til  5 AM on weekends.
