Waxing Made Beautiful with Belle La Peau

I remember during my college days. Neneng-nene pa ako nun. My look was very simple- I would only sometimes put face powder or lip gloss. Now in this modern times, our young ladies put high value on their appearance, very much kikay indeed!

Back then, waxing salons were unheard of, or if they were existing, I was unaware. To remove unwanted hair, I use the good ol' disposable razor. Cheap and works, but the stubble, ingrown, fast regrowth was a bummer.
Now our young women have specialty waxing salons to go to! These help them achieve well-groomed eyebrows, and smooth, hair-free skin, allowing them to flaunt in trendy clothes.

They also had a store blessing for sister brand Dermcare, which is located on the opposite end of the same level.
Actor and 3rd District of Manila Congressman Yul Servo graced the event. He is flanked by (to his left) Dermcare and Belle La Peau President & CEO Zenaida Palisoc and Bona Park.
Catering for the guests. They are very generous as I saw that even some bystanders were able to partake of the food.
The celebration's theme is Mardi Gras- with beads, glitters and masks.
October 13 was Belle La Peau SM San Lazaro's soft opening. Then for the Grand Opening Day, there was FREE underarm waxing for the first 100 customers! Yahoooo!
The color purple is associated with royalty.

Wax XXX Skin Care 1 and 2 used before waxing, and 3 and 4 after waxing.
1 and 2 antiseptic and protection,
3 and 4 moisturizing and anti-irritant.
Half leg using hot wax. With Wax XXX there is no cloth strip used.
Procedure:
1. Scoop hot wax using stick/spatula. Turn it round to make it cooler then spread the wax on skin.
2. Let it harden a bit and rip. Since it is the leg area, I felt no pain at all.
(Repeat process 1 and 2. You can't spread the entire wax all at once. It is only done per area.)
3. The waxed area looks noticeably whiter. It also doesn't feel sticky, but soft and smooth.
4. You can see the removed hair on the wax strip used.
We also tried the blue wax but the waxing technician said the white (rice) wax removes my hair better. So I am more compatible with that variant. She also advised me some after care- for 6 to 8 hours NO wetting the area, application of cream or oil, massage or tight clothes. Doing so may aggravate the skin.
I am lucky that it was no less than the Filipina waxing core trainer herself who attended to me. Debbie, alongside the French and Singaporean, are the instructors to the international-standard waxing training.
