Quezon Buffet Celebrating Filipino-Spanish Cuisine
Hello po! I love buffets, and there is a new one at the 2/F- L27 Fisher Mall, 325 Quezon Ave., Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Quezon City. Quezon Buffet is a celebration of Filipino and Spanish cuisine!
But first up, here's some trivia about the most populous city in the country-
I love the old picture image on the glass window as seen below!
November 23, 2015 was Quezon Buffet Restaurant's star-studded Grand Opening.
Ribbon Cutting with the people behind Quezon Buffet, Yul Servo, Bobby Yan, and beauty queens.
Solemn blessing.
Funny host for the day, DJ Lindsay of Energy FM.
Lively performance by the musicians of the Children's Joy Foundation.
Ima Castro serenading the guests.
Sweet number from Yna and Jester of TV show Walang Tulugan.
Quezon Buffet Restaurant has the following stations: Sisig, Grill, Carvings (expertise of Quezon's Chef Kalel), Sawsawan Bar, Main Course, Appetizers, Desserts, Drinks.
Food Attack!!!
(Take note that these pictures were taken during, or after, getting our share of the day's fare.)
Kalabasa soup and Sinigang na Baboy sa Pula.
Sisig! Bangus, chicken, pork.
For the carnivore! Bagnet, Lechon Baka, Lechon Chili Belly, Lechon Manok Inasal.
Vegetarians are also sure to find a new favorite here. Must try is the Salad with Pako (edible fiddlehead fern, popular in Baler, Aurora- Pres. Quezon's birthplace!).
Doesn't get more Spanish than Paella and Callos.
Kare Kare and Dinakdakan
Hamonadong Manok and Fried Fish with 2 salsa
Longganisa Pasta and Pancit Canton
For your sweet tooth
Here are some of the food I tried.
My Top 3 favorites would have to be the Angus steak tapa, pork bbq, desserts (ginataang mais balls, frozen brazo and leche flan). Yummy!!!
The charming chef behind Quezon Buffet and one of the top 10 good-looking chefs, Kalel Chan delivers his message and answers questions thrown by the food bloggers.
Rates of Quezon Filipino + Spanish Buffet Restaurant. The place can accommodate 200 pax and function rooms for 30-35 persons are also available.
Thank you Quezon Buffet!

But first up, here's some trivia about the most populous city in the country-
- Did you know that for 28 years starting in 1948, Quezon City was the Philippines' capital (through Republic Act No. 333) til it was reverted back to Manila?
- And did you know that the city (and this restaurant) was named after Manuel L. Quezon (the second President of the Philippines and the first President of the Philippine Commonwealth under the United States)?
